Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and improve Bazel installation and remote build/cache infrastructure to improve correctness, reproducibility, and speed.
  • •Set the technical roadmap for software build system reliability and performance.
  • •Accelerate inner-loop development velocity and CI run-times by diagnosing and resolving build bottlenecks, including remote execution efficiency and cache hit rates.
  • •Drive organizational alignment on build system investments across multiple teams and domains.
  • •Serve as the technical authority on build systems across Airbnb, mentoring senior engineers and owning build architecture decisions across multiple repos.

Salary: USD 204,000 - 255,000 annually
