Job Summary

Senior Project Engineer responsible for end-to-end delivery of SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects on the Monarch platform. You’ll lead a high-performance team, design, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware and software for utility-grade systems, coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders, and support tender proposals to showcase AspenTech’s competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess technical specification requirements for projects, evaluate risks and identify mitigation plans.
•Understand project requirements through interactions with customer and internal stakeholders. Delegate tasks within and across the teams as necessary.
•Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
•Provide networking and system/application design.
•Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration and perform factory functional testing for SCADA, Web platform, High speed Historian, and other related functionalities.
•Document and track progress of project activities and report any technical issues.
•Provide Subject-matter expert support to Solutions / Proposals team to bring out competitive advantage of AspenTech in tenders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 87,700 - 109,600 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience with 2+ years of managing a team
•Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
•Experience with SCADA systems, database creation, configuration of web platforms, knowledge of enterprise historians, testing and commissioning
•Knowledge of configuration of SCADA software packages, SQL database, ODBC and report generation
•Knowledge of computer architecture, networking, databases and operating systems
