Job Summary

Build and optimize intelligent document processing pipelines to extract structured data from unstructured financial documents such as fund notices, capital calls, and NAV statements. Apply NLP and Document AI techniques, including spaCy, Hugging Face, and LangChain, alongside OCR workflows using Textract and Tesseract. Use VLMs and LLM-based extraction/classification, validate outputs with quality frameworks, and support production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and optimize document processing solutions to extract structured data from unstructured financial documents.
•Build and enhance NLP and Document AI pipelines using spaCy, Hugging Face, and LangChain.
•Develop and maintain OCR pipelines using Textract and Tesseract, and improve accuracy using VLMs and document understanding techniques.
•Implement LLM-based extraction and classification workflows and extract/normalize/validate key financial document data elements.
•Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of extraction pipelines in production; create technical documentation and mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

•9+ years of experience in data science, NLP, Document AI, or intelligent document processing roles.
•Strong hands-on Python experience and deep expertise in NLP and Document AI.
•Experience building NLP/Document AI pipelines and OCR pipelines.
•Experience with spaCy, Hugging Face, LangChain, Textract, and Tesseract.
•Proven ability to extract structured data from unstructured financial documents (e.g., fund notices, capital calls, NAV statements).
