Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive and pay out cash and handle negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station, including assisting with vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine balancing.
  • •Record sales of monetary instruments and assist with proper scanning of bank documents and proof work.
  • •Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone, and exercise judgment for holds and check-cashing decisions.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services and complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (equivalent four years high school or GED).
  • •0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Basic math skills and ability to use a 10-key for cash handling.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions in person and by telephone.
  • •Ability to maintain accurate teller station balancing and follow bank policies, procedures, and account-hold decisions.
