Job Summary

Join Loft to own attitude guidance and ADCS performance across Loft missions. Define performance requirements, develop and validate guidance algorithms (on-ground or in orbit), calibrate ADCS, and coordinate with bus suppliers and customers to resolve anomalies and improve orbit operations. Be the technical reference for attitude control across an expanding satellite fleet.

Key Responsibilities

•Define performance requirements, budgets, and ADCS allocations for Loft missions.
•Develop and validate the attitude guidance algorithms (on-ground or in orbit).
•Develop the ADCS calibration strategy.
•Coordinate with bus suppliers to ensure follow-up and anomaly resolution.
•Support customer interactions for ADCS performance; be the technical reference for attitude control matters for the in-orbit fleet.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

•You have 5+ years of proven experience as an attitude control architect or engineer.
•You possess strong communication and organizational skills.
•You challenge conventional aerospace engineering and testing practices, and/or have experience in a fast-paced development environment.
•You have extensive knowledge of Python.
•Experience with Flight / Orbital Dynamics, in addition to attitude control; experience with Earth Observation missions; international experience.
