Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating annual rules
  • •Handle complex new and renewal domestic large property accounts and serve as a subject matter expert
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with agents and brokers to support business retention and acquisition and identify insurance needs
  • •Qualify accounts against the organization’s appetite and assess opportunities with key distributors to identify growth opportunities
  • •Support the sales culture by serving as a help point and making planned broker/customer on-site calls; may guide lower-level associates

Salary: USD 125,300 - 271,300

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) with 5+ years underwriting/market-facing experience, or 10+ years in claims/underwriting support (Executive level)
  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) with 7+ years underwriting/market-facing experience, or 14+ years in claims/underwriting support (AVP/Director level)
  • •Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (Associate Degree) plus underwriting/market-facing or claims/underwriting support experience per level
  • •Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office
  • •Experience working under time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business and working in a team environment
