Key Responsibilities

  • •Launch and maintain the new Mexican ferrous markets report, focusing on Mexican steel supported by DRI and ferrous scrap analysis across regional and global markets.
  • •Deliver data-driven analysis and commentary on current and future Mexican steel and broader ferrous raw materials trends using supply-and-demand models.
  • •Communicate insights directly to clients and prospects via notes, presentations, conferences, and briefing sessions.
  • •Collaborate globally with the Sr. Principal Analyst for US Ferrous Metals and a network of experts to build and scale regional models.
  • •Partner with Sales to support new business development and conduct original data mining to uncover marketable findings, while documenting research methodologies and managing project timelines.

  • •Previous experience in commodity markets with strong understanding of market structure, trade dynamics, and macroeconomic drivers of supply and demand, ideally in steel and/or ferrous raw materials (DRI, ferrous scrap).
