Key Responsibilities

  • •Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
  • •Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.
  • •Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and enunciation.
  • •Maintain a professional demeanor and remain calm on sessions, including emergency situations like 911 calls.
  • •Maintain punctuality and availability during work hours while following client instructions and protocols.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluency in Krahn and English, with cultural competency and awareness of regional differences.
  • •Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain accuracy during interpretation.
  • •Ability to concentrate, stay detached, and remain neutral on calls involving sensitive topics.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ years of age; legally authorized to work in the United States; work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship.
  • •Ability to read and write the requested languages is highly preferred.
