Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, test, and ship backend features and improvements with minimal guidance, using Ruby/Rails, Go, or other modern languages.
  • •Write and maintain secure, observable, high-performance backend code, including APIs, background jobs, integrations, and bounded service functionality.
  • •Add and improve automated test coverage (unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end where appropriate) and review others’ code for quality, security, performance, and operational risk.
  • •Investigate build, test, deployment, and runtime failures, identify technical debt, propose improvements, and participate in on-call/operational support as required.
  • •Use AI productively in daily work, validating outputs and understanding limitations where they matter.
