Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development, effectiveness, and consolidation of approximately 65 armaments supervisors and tradesmen on the Aircraft Generation Flight at KFdAB.
  • •Establish the optimum technical development approach and maintain individual development plans for each armament trade member.
  • •Provide trade leadership to ensure Typhoon aircraft maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the RSAF Regulatory Framework.
  • •Ensure safety practices, Salam Support Safety Case Report compliance, and that risks are controlled across the Area of Responsibility.
  • •Implement FOD control, ensure safety and maintenance error management systems are understood and used, and coach/mentor BAES and RSAF personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to HNC level or recognized equivalent, or relevant experience supported by formal, recorded workplace applied related training.
  • •Completed a recognized aircraft engineering apprenticeship in industry/military (aircraft systems).
  • •Previous Typhoon Weapon Systems experience with a formal “Q” annotation.
  • •Substantial post-qualification experience of military fast jet maintenance support at Senior Supervisor level, including ability to manage engineering personnel.
  • •Fluent in English and able to coordinate activities, communicate, influence, and direct decision-making.
