Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate progressive type cold header machines to produce finished parts.
  • •Change tooling for job setup, replace broken tooling, and make required adjustments.
  • •Prepare and load steel coil material by manually straightening, butt welding, and grinding ends as needed.
  • •Read and interpret shop orders and blueprints to produce parts to blueprint specifications and verify quality with gauges.
  • •Enter production into the kiosk, perform daily machine maintenance, and maintain a safe, clean, well-organized workspace.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Proven experience with progressive type cold headers; experience with National headers preferred.
  • •Prior tow motor experience.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • •Prior experience using micrometers, calipers, and other gauges, with mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
