Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist technical expertise in corrosion engineering, material selection, corrosion monitoring, coatings, and cathodic protection.
  • •Lead the development and implementation of corrosion management and mitigation programmes for client operating assets.
  • •Lead Corrosion Risk Assessment Studies (CRAS) and support Integrity Operating Window (IOW) development initiatives.
  • •Review and optimise corrosion control measures, including monitoring programmes, probes, coupons, and chemical treatment systems.
  • •Act as technical authority for corrosion-related fitness-for-service (FFS), root cause analysis (RCA), and life extension studies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Metallurgy, or related discipline.
  • •Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
  • •AMPP/NACE Corrosion Specialist certification.
  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience in corrosion and materials engineering within oil and gas, petrochemical or related process industries, including at least 5 years in a specialist or technical authority role.
  • •Demonstrated experience developing corrosion management frameworks and integrity/RBI methodologies, including delivering Corrosion Risk Assessment Studies (CRAS).
