Reactively investigate scams, fraud, and illicit activity, establish expertise in investigative techniques, and conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations.

•Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks to detect and prevent misuse by illicit operators.
•Design and develop solutions to priority risks, and work with stakeholders to deploy and measure effectiveness.
•Represent the team in cross-functional groups and within areas of expertise.
•Establish expertise in relevant investigative techniques, technologies, or abuse prevention strategies.
•Reactively investigate potential issues including scams, fraud, and illicit goods and activities, and conduct periodic reviews supporting legal and compliance obligations.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations, or 12+ years in lieu of a degree.
•6+ years of experience using data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (e.g., R).
•6+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (e.g., fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities).
•3+ years owning and driving improvements in processes, technology, or other business areas to improve customer integrity or related capabilities.
•Ability to work onsite in Bastrop, TX (remote work not considered).
