Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of operations quality engineers and hardware specialists, including staffing, coaching/mentoring, presenting to senior leadership, and performance reviews.
  • •Interact with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and program representatives to align top priorities for the team across factories.
  • •Ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • •Verify and validate improvements to understand effectiveness and impact on metrics.
  • •Baseline and monitor factory metrics (scrap, rework, FPY), identify top drivers, forecast demand, and manage nonconformities while ensuring proper disposition.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or other technical field and a minimum of eight (8) years of Quality Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related fields.
  • •Project management experience including managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • •Experience in first article inspection reports (FAIRs), quality monitoring, and leading root cause corrective actions in a cross functional matrixed environment
  • •Experience in development/usage of quality metrics to drive root cause and long-term corrective action, and in the identification/institution of perceptive verifications
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
