Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that change how associates work and how customers interact.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, agent/multi-agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Leverage open source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch.
  • •Optimize multi-model orchestration pipelines integrating LLMs, vector search, and domain-specific models into unified systems.
  • •Establish cost-performance governance (e.g., GPU utilization, throughput, inference cost efficiency) and mentor Principal/Manager-level AI engineers through design councils/review boards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 229,900 - 262,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related fields plus at least 6 years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master's with at least 4 years.
  • •6+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure (or equivalent private cloud).
  • •Experience building complex AI systems (e.g., LLM inference, similarity search, vector databases, guardrails, memory) using Python, C++, C#, Java, CUDA, or Golang.
  • •Experience with state-of-the-art training/inference optimization to improve hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost.
