Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and assist on key planning policy projects, including local authority policy and strategy development and local plan evidence studies.
  • •Offer strategic planning advice to client and internal teams.
  • •Represent the organisation and manage relationships with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders through project work and networking.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure successful delivery within budget and programme timelines.
  • •Contribute to planning policy deliverables and uphold quality assurance and health & safety principles, while supporting business development and tender preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant relevant experience leading and contributing to planning policy and strategy development in a consultancy or public sector role.
  • •Client focus with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative working approach.
  • •Existing relationships with clients and local authorities.
  • •Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and communicate effectively.
  • •Degree in Town Planning (or related) and membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional body.
