Job Summary

Own development and integration of Pratt & Whitney engine control and diagnostic system software for APU and Expendable Turbojet programs. You’ll decompose and manage requirements under ARP4754, apply MBSE with Cameo Systems Modeler, and implement Model-Based Design in MATLAB Simulink. Develop and validate Simulink models for actuation and fuel/pneumatic systems, support subsystem integration across sensors and actuators, and collaborate across the engine product lifecycle with up to 10% travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Support control system integration across engine subsystems, including FADEC, sensors, actuators, fuel systems, and electro-mechanical components.
•Develop, manage, and decompose system and subsystem requirements and own requirements lifecycle activities (authoring, allocation, traceability, validation, verification).
•Support hardware selection, trade studies, and integration of sensors, effectors, and control system components.
•Apply MBSE with Cameo Systems Modeler and translate requirements into MBD implementations for software development.
•Develop and validate Simulink models for actuation systems (starter-generators, fuel systems, pneumatic systems).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
•8 years of engineering experience or 5 years with an advanced degree.
•Develop, manage, and decompose system and subsystem requirements in accordance with ARP4754 guidelines.
•Familiarity with gas turbine engine operation, control, and system integration.
•Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler and proficiency with MATLAB Simulink.
