Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead safety case delivery on projects and support the nuclear portfolio within AECOM’s Civil and Defence lines.
  • •Mentor, coach and develop the nuclear safety case team and contribute to training initiatives.
  • •Advise on regulatory compliance, standards and guidance, and support interactions with regulators and safety committees.
  • •Assist in winning work by supporting bidding processes related to nuclear safety and client relationship management.
  • •Collaborate with clients, partners and contractors to move projects forward and ensure a right-first-time approach to technical delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Honours (2:1 or above) or Masters degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (or equivalent UK nuclear industry experience)
  • •Chartership (or working towards) in a STEM discipline with a Professional Institution
  • •Experience of developing nuclear safety cases in civil and/or defence nuclear sectors
  • •Experience of mentoring, training and coaching activities
  • •Ability to obtain security clearance to Security Check (SC) level
