Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead shop activities for regular maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • •Schedule, assign, and support technicians to complete work safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • •Inspect, diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain trucks and heavy equipment systems including diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical components, and transmissions.
  • •Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects and verify repairs; dismantle, reassemble, and test using shop tools and instruments.
  • •Manage repair parts, preventative maintenance materials, inventory, shop organization, and accurate maintenance/labor/equipment/parts records, coordinating with operations and maintenance teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience maintaining and repairing trucks, diesel engines, heavy equipment, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • •Proven ability to lead, schedule, coach, and support mechanics or maintenance technicians.
  • •Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical issues and determine effective repair solutions.
  • •Experience managing parts, inventory, work records, and maintenance documentation accurately.
  • •Class B CDL preferred; valid driver’s license required (two-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred).
