Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead front-end commercialization strategy for complex or multiple new product programs, influencing architecture, platform decisions, and supplier engagement models.
  • •Drive enterprise-level DFx execution (DfM, DfA, DfC, DfS, DfR, ITO, transportability), establishing standards and ensuring consistent application across programs.
  • •Establish early co-development models with strategic suppliers and Materials Program Management to optimize supplier capability, material strategy, and design intent during concept and architecture.
  • •Act as senior technical authority and escalation point for complex mechanical and electrical design decisions affecting manufacturability, yield, serviceability, and cost.
  • •Translate incomplete or conflicting design inputs into commercialization and virtual validation paths under incomplete design maturity, and provide executive-level status, risk, and readiness assessments.

Salary: USD 140,000 - 192,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •Typically 10–15+ years of progressive engineering experience in product development, DFx, commercialization, supplier engineering, or complex technical program leadership.
  • •Advanced knowledge of manufacturing process engineering, process economics, or systems engineering.
  • •Experience leading DFx and commercialization activities across complex or multiple new product programs, including supplier engagement models.
  • •Demonstrated enterprise-level technical leadership and ability to solve highly ambiguous, ill-defined technical problems with broad business impact.
