Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary electrical engineer for new press module design projects and make component selection decisions.
  • •Create and release comprehensive schematic and assembly design drawings and documentation for electrical cabinets, custom cables, and subassemblies.
  • •Drive prototyping, validation testing, and design changes based on learnings; qualify and characterize key components.
  • •Design and lead assembly of functional test equipment to support manufacturers in validating press modules.
  • •Address component end-of-life and supply assurance by selecting alternate components and managing design change processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, ECE, or a related subject.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing industrial machinery or similar designs from concept to production.
  • •Proven ability to take designs from concept through prototyping to manufacturing.
  • •Hands-on experience with electrical power and controls design, including balanced three-phase power.
