Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of Relationship Managers and coach for improved performance and achievement of team business objectives while also managing an independent portfolio.
  • •Manage, direct, and control portfolio business across Asia corporate banking customers to maximize customer value and identify alignment opportunities with other product groups.
  • •Hunt, source, and onboard new-to-bank customers while deepening relationships and cross-selling within the portfolio.
  • •Originate, structure, and execute transactions; run and oversee the credit process end to end.
  • •Proactively monitor the portfolio across KYC, transactional accounts, negative news, and debt performance; act as First Line of Defence to safeguard against financial crime risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree holder with a Finance, Business or Accountancy background.
  • •Relevant experience in a front-line business development role in corporate banking handling China corporates.
  • •Proficiency in Mandarin (writing/speaking) for client communication.
  • •Strong credit and business development skills to grow an existing client portfolio and acquire new clients.
  • •Solid credit, analytical and structuring capability, including assessing client credit profile and corporate cashflow.
