Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively manage IT security monitoring for customers to reduce the impact of security incidents and system compromises.
  • •Perform security event analysis and evaluate type/severity using packet analysis and knowledge of exploits and vulnerabilities.
  • •Create SIEM content (queries, dashboards, reports) in tools such as Splunk.
  • •Lead and/or assist incident response, including investigation, corrective actions, escalation, and SLA adherence using ticketing systems and SOPs.
  • •Support SOC engineering efforts (tool integration, automation/scripts, testing new tools, evaluating new technologies) and document/report findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field (including computer science) or equivalent education and experience.
  • •2–4 years of SIEM or Splunk Enterprise Security experience.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Experience writing/creating formal documentation such as reports, slide decks, and architecture diagrams.
  • •Root cause analysis and investigative/problem-solving skills, including customer service/support experience.
