Job Summary

Supervise daily operations of an Inspection Center reconditioning shop on the 2nd shift. Lead and coach hourly associates to safely move vehicles, meet production and quality targets, review defects, and train teams using Quality Control standards to reduce re-checks and delays. Partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality, while ensuring adherence to safety, policies, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage safe movement of vehicles into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
•Oversee day-to-day team activities; identify strengths/weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
•Provide coaching, development, feedback, and performance management for assigned production associates.
•Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; train associates on Quality Control standards to complete repairs correctly the first time.
•Lead production associates and partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent.
•Experience using computers.
•Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
•Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process, including understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
•Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a shop environment with standing and safety equipment requirements.
