Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist a Senior Technician with technical analysis and ground data analysis, including preparation of base maps.
  • •Prepare graphic representations of parcels and road portions, including plan, profile, and section outputs.
  • •Annotate work items such as barriers, borders, and pavement markings, and design temporary or permanent signage.
  • •Prepare highway/roadway and detour path plans and profiles, including cross sections, typical sections, and details.
  • •Assist with preparation of installation slips and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Civil.
  • •3-10 years of experience on infrastructure projects with detail design of highways and drainage.
  • •Strong abilities to work with CAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Office.
  • •Knowledge/understanding of Canadian standards and design practices (Canadian standards are an asset).
  • •Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
