Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and implement credit policies using Stripe’s proprietary and selected industry data to target, price, and size capital products.
  • •Provide credit risk recommendations and insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Data Science, Engineering, Capital Markets) to shape new product development across geographies and industries.
  • •Incorporate third-party data (bureau, bank account, financial statements, and other data) into credit assessment.
  • •Analyze account activity and monitor portfolio trends to identify opportunities to reduce potential credit losses; help scale risk processes via outsourced workflow optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in credit analysis and underwriting.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • •Experience in risk management, financial lending, or core credit risk management.
  • •Strong analytical skills with a rigorous, data-driven problem-solving approach.
  • •Strong technical expertise, including SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets.
