Key Responsibilities

•Architect and implement credit policies using Stripe’s proprietary and selected industry data to target, price, and size capital products.
•Provide credit risk recommendations and insights to support strategic business decisions.
•Collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Data Science, Engineering, Capital Markets) to shape new product development across geographies and industries.
•Incorporate third-party data (bureau, bank account, financial statements, and other data) into credit assessment.
•Analyze account activity and monitor portfolio trends to identify opportunities to reduce potential credit losses; help scale risk processes via outsourced workflow optimization.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in credit analysis and underwriting.
•Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
•Experience in risk management, financial lending, or core credit risk management.
•Strong analytical skills with a rigorous, data-driven problem-solving approach.
•Strong technical expertise, including SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets.
