Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform Life Cycle and Materiel Management functions including equipment obsolescence, material compatibility issues, alternate part investigations, maintenance management, and disposal management
•Support and manage activities related to design and configuration control of vessels including functional and physical configuration audits, deviations and waivers documentation
•Provide technical advice to enable auxiliary and mechanical equipment and systems to be correctly operated or maintained
•Monitor system performance through reports such as Unsatisfactory Condition Reports, Pre-installation failures, and technical investigations
•Develop and review technical documentation including equipment specifications, installation and maintenance instructions, test/trials agendas, and engineering change documents

Key Requirements

•3-year technical program diploma (for Technologists) or 2-year technical program diploma (for Technicians) in a marine mechanical technical field offered by a recognized technical institute
•Certified as technologist/technician by a recognized licensing body or certified as marine technical trades (RQ-PO1, RQ-PO2, QL 6A, or QL 7)
•Minimum 8 years of demonstrated professional work experience in the naval, marine, or offshore industry within the last 15 years
•Extensive knowledge of marine auxiliary systems including propulsion, steering, HVAC, refrigeration
•Strong communication skills; English required
