Job Summary

Lead electrical design of power distribution and control systems for Canada’s mining and industrial projects. Based in Vancouver, you’ll design for new and brownfield facilities, perform power studies (load flow, short‑circuit, arc‑flash), prepare equipment specifications, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate across disciplines while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Design electrical power distribution and control systems for safe, reliable industrial operations.
•Apply technical expertise to hazardous classification environments including flammable gases and combustible dusts.
•Conduct power system studies—load flow, short‑circuit, arc‑flash analysis using ETAP or EasyPower.
•Prepare specifications and data sheets for switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and associated equipment.
•Coordinate design activities across disciplines and offices to support seamless project execution.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 98,800 - 130,800 annually
