Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical vision and control strategy for AI and Copilot data protection across Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and M365 security services.
  • •Define and evolve an AI data protection reference architecture mapped to AI threat models and regulatory expectations, including Copilot configuration hardening.
  • •Design, implement, and operate AI-related controls such as information protection labeling strategy, DLP/endpoint DLP, and data lifecycle retention enforcement.
  • •Define AI-specific risk use cases and build monitoring, alerting, automation, and evidence-preserving response runbooks for abnormal/high-risk AI usage.
  • •Translate AI threat models into policy-aligned technical controls, maintain documentation and decision logs, and provide executive/stakeholder reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender (including Cloud Apps).
  • •Strong background in data protection and enterprise information security, including DLP technologies.
  • •Proven scripting and automation capability with PowerShell and Python, plus Power Automate.
  • •Experience operating within formal incident, problem, and change management processes (e.g., ServiceNow).
