Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead MEP deliverables within larger projects or manage direct MEP commissions, including asset upgrade works.
  • •Establish early budgets, provide early estimating, and develop cost plans.
  • •Manage design teams to budget, oversee tendering and procurement (single and two-stage), and deliver post-contract reporting.
  • •Review and validate cost build-ups and rate analysis; support benchmarking and maintain the Client Workbook for change orders.
  • •Mentor Assistant Cost Managers/Cost Managers and collaborate with contractors, clients, and the MEP supply chain; support development of MEP digital systems and tools.

Key Requirements

  • •A proven track record delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
  • •Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards it.
  • •Degree or HNC-level qualification.
  • •Ability to level and negotiate initial tender returns and issue recommendations.
  • •Experience running change control processes, including cost negotiations and payment application recommendations.
