Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and manage safety best practices, programs, and procedures, including safety inspections and hazard identification with corrective actions.
  • •Administer safety training programs and health and safety initiatives, ensuring OSHA compliance and adherence to Safe Operating Guidelines.
  • •Oversee safety incidents: document incidents, assist with accident investigations, and ensure reporting and recordkeeping requirements are met.
  • •Coordinate onboarding and training (including a 30-60-90 day health & safety onboarding program), covering warehouse operations, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • •Lead Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training (initial certifications, recertifications, evaluations, and accident retraining) and maintain accurate training and certification records.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of training, safety, or related experience in a warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environment.
  • •Bachelor's degree or minimum 3 years of safety-specific experience.
  • •Experience developing and delivering training programs for adult learners.
  • •Experience operating and training associates on Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT), including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA regulations and the ability to conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to identify workplace hazards.
