Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and present mechanical cost estimates and quantity take-offs for complex mechanical building services and process utility installations.
  • •Independently evaluate contractor and subcontractor tenders and make commercial recommendations to clients.
  • •Review, validate, and negotiate variations, change orders, and compensation events, including quantity, rate, and scope validation.
  • •Provide side-by-side cost comparisons and perform high-level reviews of change orders in line with contract documents.
  • •Advise clients on bid strategies and manage prequalification, bid leveling, and bid interview/appointment processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a quantity surveying and/or estimating role in the construction industry.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large sized construction projects.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
