Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop CAT underwriting tools and reports for the Marine line to enable portfolio steering and underwriting.
  • •Run catastrophe loss modelling reports and prepare regular and ad-hoc data extracts, including portfolio analyses and CAT limit monitoring.
  • •Collaborate with Product Leaders, the Technical Office, and Regional Underwriting specialists to support risk appetite and capacity steering.
  • •Serve as business owner for IT and data initiatives, delivering reporting and transformation projects (including Power BI dashboards) that support Marine Underwriting and portfolio steering.
  • •Translate CAT modelling results for Marine underwriters, provide training on CAT topics, and evaluate marine-specific exposures and requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in CAT risk management and catastrophe modelling.
  • •Experience in CAT analytics within a catastrophe modelling vendor, insurer, or reinsurer.
  • •Hands-on experience with CAT modelling tools.
  • •Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in Excel, VBA, SQL (or similar).
  • •Project management experience and a degree preferably in Geosciences, Engineering, or Mathematics.
