Key Responsibilities

  • •Own assigned applications end to end across their lifecycle, including run, maintain, improve, and decommission for an on-prem legacy portfolio.
  • •Continuously monitor application health, batch jobs, and integration points using AI-assisted anomaly detection, and automate routine remediation.
  • •Execute deployments and configuration changes through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • •Perform maintenance and housekeeping (log rotation, release and patch management), manage availability/continuity with failover and DR, and validate RTO/RPO backups.
  • •Lead security operations and compliance activities, including vulnerability remediation and security patching across the on-prem stack, access governance, and regulatory resilience reporting evidence.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant work experience in system engineering and application operations (network, server, security, databases).
  • •Strong Linux administration with production experience operating IBM WebSphere and nginx.
  • •CI/CD experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, plus infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
  • •Kubernetes operations at workload/operator level on EKS and AKS, with AWS and Azure network architecture knowledge.
  • •Scripting/automation experience (e.g., Python) and experience wiring AI into operations (AI-assisted code generation/review or AIOps with ML-based alerting).
