Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and manage end-to-end SMT processes including solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering, SPI, AOI, and related inspection systems.
  • •Establish and continuously improve process parameters, control limits, and operating windows to support stable yields and quality.
  • •Drive yield improvement and defect reduction using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, DOE, SPC, JMP).
  • •Support new product introduction (NPI) readiness by providing input on stencil design, penalization, process flow, and manufacturability (DFM/DFA/FMEA/RCA).
  • •Monitor manufacturing KPIs and implement corrective/preventive actions; act as technical escalation point for SMT-related production or quality issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Chemical, Chemistry, Electrical, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related).
  • •Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with SMT experience.
  • •Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release strategies.
  • •Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • •Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions, with ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
