Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of complex ICSS, SCADA, BPCS, and SIS systems for critical infrastructure projects.
  • •Apply and champion compliance with IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 functional safety standards across all project phases.
  • •Architect and implement secure OT network designs, integrating cybersecurity best practices into industrial control environments.
  • •Develop high-quality engineering deliverables, including control philosophies, drawings, execution strategies, and alarm management plans.
  • •Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with client and regulatory requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 135,200 - 179,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering (or related discipline)
  • •Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in automation, ICSS, and SCADA engineering
  • •Proven expertise with major platforms such as Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation, Emerson DeltaV, Siemens, Aveva System Platform/OSI PI/InTouch, Ignition, Iconics, ReLab Clearview
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation; Functional Safety and OT Cybersecurity certifications are strong assets
  • •Experience delivering systems across Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Transportation Systems, and Data Centres
