Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide effective, timely, and confidential services to families assessed as at risk for child maltreatment and/or family violence.
  • •Identify, assess, and report suspected child abuse and neglect and domestic abuse, following program requirements.
  • •Assess developmental milestones and referral procedures for indicators of special needs or developmental delays.
  • •Assess and strengthen adaptation to parenthood, parental capacity, trusting relationships, and appropriate parenting skills.
  • •Maintain up-to-date case tracking and deliver concrete support by connecting families to community-based services and networks.

Key Requirements

  • •At least two (2) years of direct work experience in child abuse or domestic abuse, or maternal/child health or medical social work.
  • •Must hold a current and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or RN.
  • •Licensed Clinical Social Workers must have an unrestricted clinical license and a master’s degree in Social Work to practice independently.
  • •Registered Nurses must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a current unrestricted RN license (one of the States or U.S. territories), and at least two (2) years of relevant direct work experience.
  • •Must have home visitation experience and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
