Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect products for compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620, JSTD-001, and MIL-HDBK-454.
  • •Identify and disposition non-conforming material; prevent recurrence by providing walk-back feedback to assemblers and inspectors.
  • •Participate in MFG DPT (Defect Prevention Team) meetings to drive containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • •Perform process audits, process walks, operator observations, and participate in team discussions to drive process enhancements and reduce variation.
  • •Identify supplier escapes/issues and ensure proper containment and backflow to the Supplier Quality Management team; verify effectiveness of improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires an AAA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

  • •Ability to read technical documentation, technical data packages, and/or work instructions.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
