Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain backend services for Digital Banking platforms supporting high transaction volume, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • •Lead distributed systems design across decomposition, asynchronous communication, fault tolerance, idempotency, backpressure, and graceful degradation.
  • •Build Java microservices, REST APIs, batch jobs, and event-driven workflows using modern engineering patterns.
  • •Champion workflow orchestration best practices and contribute to workflow implementations across services.
  • •Mentor engineers, participate in design and code reviews, and partner with stakeholders to deliver secure, performant, maintainable platform services aligned to SLAs.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software development experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • •Strong hands-on backend engineering experience with Java and its frameworks.
  • •Extensive experience building distributed, scalable, low-latency services in complex enterprise environments.
  • •Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, service contracts, integration patterns, and API lifecycle practices.
  • •Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Batch, JUnit, JDBC, Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Kafka (Kafka Streams desirable).
