Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate system design into gas-flow and vacuum architecture that meets system requirements for scanners and test rigs.
  • •Specify vacuum system components, standards, and procedures, ensuring recording in Technical Product Documentation (TPD).
  • •Define, model, and execute qualification tests and DOEs to verify architecture/subsystem performance against specified requirements.
  • •Perform analyses and calculations (e.g., pressure-drop budgeting, flow budgeting, humidification, gas purity) and troubleshoot particle contamination using flushing/venting procedures.
  • •Participate in design reviews, support functional integration, and transfer vacuum systems knowledge across ASML units while coordinating with relevant teams and architects.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in a relevant technical field.
  • •JG08: 5+ years of thorough experience, or JG09: 9+ years of substantial experience (MS or PhD preferred).
  • •Strong practical/theoretical experience with vacuum and gas-flow phenomena and applications, preferably for semiconductor systems.
  • •Ability to plan and execute qualification tests and design of experiments (DOEs) and analyze results for performance against requirements.
  • •Ability to document standards, procedures, requirements, test evidence, and component specifications in Technical Product Documentation.
