Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct pre-contract and post-contract work activities in line with corporate policies and procedures.
  • •Support the Lead Contracts Engineer with preparation of contracting plans and strategies to meet project requirements.
  • •Develop contractors and bidders lists per contract package, including prequalification as necessary.
  • •Ensure completeness of construction contracts records, coordinate statistical feedback and data gathering, and maintain/archived records per retention policy.
  • •Manage and provide input into the subcontract scorecard for project control reporting and assist with EPC execution challenges and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil, Mechanical, E&I Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum 15 years relevant experience in engineering or construction for oil & gas or heavy industrial projects.
  • •Demonstrable commercial skills and knowledge of contracting methods, contract forms, and drafting terms and conditions.
  • •Understanding of contract law principles and experience with contracts administration and tendering processes.
  • •Ability to analyze causes of delay and determine impacts on contractor performance, with strong communication and organizational skills.
