Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and report on cloud and AI-related expenses, maintaining forecast models using actuals, usage drivers, and business drivers.
  • •Execute recurring month-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, reconciliations, variance analysis, and close commentary.
  • •Support forecasting and annual planning cycles by building or enhancing financial models to answer evolving business questions.
  • •Partner cross-functionally (engineering, product, procurement, accounting, finance) to gather inputs, resolve data questions, and support spending decisions.
  • •Access and analyze cloud billing data from provider consoles and exports, then translate findings into narratives, recommendations, and decision-support materials while using AI tools to automate finance workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or finance business partnering, including exposure to vendor spend, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close.
  • •Strong financial modeling and analytical skills to investigate variances, evaluate trade-offs, and build or enhance models from scratch.
  • •Ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear narratives and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • •Ability to prioritize, work independently, and communicate clearly in an asynchronous environment.
  • •Experience with cloud and AI vendor spend; FinOps/cost management experience is preferred but not required.
