Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Go platform at Notion, including durable service patterns, libraries, and guardrails for teams to adopt
  • •Establish safe, reliable frameworks for running Go services at scale (deployment, observability, reliability)
  • •Enable AI-enabled tooling to reduce toil and raise software quality across the developer experience
  • •Contribute to AI-assisted development workflows, remote agent environments, and CI/deployments optimization
  • •Ship a concrete Go platform v1 by day 90 that unblocks multiple production teams

Key Requirements

  • •Over 10 years of hands-on software development experience
  • •Deep Go expertise, including experience operating production Go services at scale
  • •Track record of defining, driving, and owning a platform that other teams adopt (libraries, golden paths, migration playbooks)
  • •Strong systems judgment and ability to balance speed vs safety, abstraction vs flexibility
  • •Pragmatic and business-oriented, prioritizing projects with real impact and willingness to adopt new technologies as needed
