Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee bookkeeping and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and strengthening internal controls and accounting processes.
  • •Manage revenue recognition, including deferred revenue schedules and contract-level recognition timing.
  • •Own the month-end close process, improving speed, accuracy, and consistency and identifying automation opportunities.
  • •Monitor cash flow, including cash position, burn rate, runway, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • •Lead financial reporting and compliance work, including monthly/quarterly/annual statements, audits, tax filings, and vendor/contractor reporting obligations.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience at a top public accounting firm (Big Four or equivalent) with audit and financial reporting foundation.
  • •4+ years of accounting or finance experience, ideally in a Controller or Accounting Manager capacity.
  • •Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close processes, and internal controls.
  • •Experience owning annual audits and partnering with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • •CPA designation.
