Job Summary

Own the company’s financial foundation by leading accounting operations, revenue recognition, month-end close, and internal controls. Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, building forecasting models, monitoring cash flow, and delivering accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting. You’ll also oversee compliance, audits, tax filings, and vendor/contractor reporting, while using AI to streamline manual financial work in a fast-growing, early-stage environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee bookkeeping and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and strengthening internal controls and accounting processes.
•Manage revenue recognition, including deferred revenue schedules and contract-level recognition timing.
•Own the month-end close process, improving speed, accuracy, and consistency and identifying automation opportunities.
•Monitor cash flow, including cash position, burn rate, runway, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
•Lead financial reporting and compliance work, including monthly/quarterly/annual statements, audits, tax filings, and vendor/contractor reporting obligations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience at a top public accounting firm (Big Four or equivalent) with audit and financial reporting foundation.
•4+ years of accounting or finance experience, ideally in a Controller or Accounting Manager capacity.
•Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close processes, and internal controls.
•Experience owning annual audits and partnering with external auditors and tax advisors.
•CPA designation.
