Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze maintenance requirements for specific aircraft or components against approved tactical and fleet plans, resolving issues and ensuring timely creation of Statements of Work (SoW).
  • •Develop and maintain associated work packages, including technical instructions and resource/materiel requirements, and document safety-critical task requirements.
  • •Plan additional and emergent work during maintenance to manage workload effectively against schedule requirements, updating and re-authorising SoW for changes.
  • •Work with fleet planning, demand management, Part 145 organisations, technical services, airworthiness records, and third-party suppliers to deliver continuing airworthiness and contract standards.
  • •Review and report effectiveness of maintenance task performance and SoW processes across on- and off-aircraft locations, identifying trends, escalating issues, and assessing customer requirement changes (e.g., fatigue life limits, upgrades, modification programmes).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC level in a relevant Data Management or Technical discipline, or Part 66 Category A qualified, or equivalent.
  • •Recent in-depth experience in a Maintenance & Support environment, including direct experience supporting or maintaining aircraft fleets and continuing airworthiness records.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of reliability programmes and how findings impact an operator maintenance programme.
  • •Good understanding of data integrity for fleet planning and maintenance tasking & verification, including providing direction to data integrity teams.
  • •Understanding and application of Human Factors and Error Management philosophies for maintenance tasking & verification activities.
