Key Responsibilities

•Participate in software development tasks, including design, implementation plans, requirements, software code, integration testing and verification.
•Provide analysis for the decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into subsystem high level and low-level requirements and make recommendations for the generation of verification criteria and plans for the requirements.
•Work in a cross-functional agile team, participating in technical discussions and collaborating with other engineers on the team to find optimal solutions.
•Lead a cross-functional team daily and coordinate regularly with engineering and project management to ensure success of the product and program.
•Manage aspects of quality, schedule, and scope while navigating through the various team dynamics.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Avionics/Aerospace Engineering or related field and five years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role; or Master's degree or equivalent and three years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role.
•At least 3 years of experience in safety critical embedded software development and testing.
•At least 1 year of DO178B experience.
•At least 1 year of experience in avionics industry.
•Demonstrable experience in application systems integration testing.
