Key Responsibilities

  • •Greet guests promptly and professionally, meet, greet, and seat all guests with a positive attitude and act as a general source of information.
  • •Control guest flow, obtain guest details for seating, estimate wait times, and direct guests to the correct waiting area.
  • •Lead guests to tables, place menus, and ensure guests are seated before leaving the table.
  • •Manage Foundation access/reservation sheets and related items (e.g., check membership card and photo ID, distribute wrist bands/opera box passes, handle guest lists).
  • •Maintain host area cleanliness and organization, follow safety/sanitation standards, and communicate with other support departments to ensure proper flow.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete required Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training certification (or equivalent) as a state/county requirement.
  • •High school diploma.
  • •Working knowledge of restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, and problem solving.
  • •Demonstrate diplomacy and strong verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills while handling multiple tasks.
  • •Ability to seat guests in a high-volume restaurant at a pace that maximizes service efficiency.
