Job Summary

Join CAE USA as a Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy and sustain cloud-based software products for internal R&D and/or Department of Defense contracts. Work on frontend and backend stacks (Angular/React, C#/.NET, Python), real-time streaming, GIS, and DevOps in an on-site SAFe agile team in Orlando/Tampa, contributing across the full SDLC and tech demos for leadership and customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the development, deployment, and sustainment of technology demonstrators
•Present and conduct technology demonstrations to leadership and potential customers
•Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test
•Perform as part of an Agile (SAFe) team (scrums, planning, retrospectives)
•May include travel

Key Requirements

•Frontend development (Angular, React, Vue, Typescript, etc.)
•Backend development (C#, .NET, C++, Python, Node, etc.)
•Experience with cloud systems (Azure, GCP, AWS) and DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, OpenShift, Jenkins, Terraform, GitLab Runner)
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, software, or computer science and minimum 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
•Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
