Key Responsibilities

  • •Demonstrate advanced backend engineering expertise and act as a technical reference point for mentoring and knowledge exchange.
  • •Design and implement backend services, data storage solutions, and technical designs translating user and product requirements.
  • •Analyze specifications and propose scalable, maintainable solutions in alignment with Amadeus architectural standards and recommended practices.
  • •Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support product validation.
  • •Contribute to engineering practices by improving SDLC, coding standards, automated testing, and enhancing performance, reliability, and observability.

Key Requirements

  • •Good experience with Kotlin or Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, Spring Integration).
  • •Knowledge of SQL and relational database design, including building and maintaining data storage solutions.
  • •Experience designing and operating microservice architectures with reliable, scalable, maintainable backend services.
  • •Experience with unit and integration testing and using Test Containers.
  • •Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes, plus messaging/streaming experience (Apache Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ).
