Job Summary

Own cost, schedule, and portfolio performance for R&D projects within CAE’s Technology and Product Development (TPD) organization. Use SAFe and Agile practices to align engineering resources, budgeting/forecasting, and product roadmap needs, while driving reviews, risk mitigation, and deliverables (KPMs/OKRs). Partner with finance, procurement, and subcontract groups to ensure compliance and successful project execution through billing milestones and Control Account Management.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage multiple R&D projects with complex funding profiles, owning cost and schedule performance and delivering monthly project reports to leadership.
•Perform budget and forecasting activities across the portfolio, align resources to budget and schedule, and ensure engineering resource skills match execution needs.
•Develop and maintain deliverables, KPMs, and OKRs per TPD execution cadence; execute project review cycles.
•Identify and mitigate risks to schedule and costs, and monitor/control billing milestones including intercompany purchase orders.
•Interface with finance, procurement, and subcontracts for reporting and process compliance, driving purchasing with the D&S procurement team and fulfilling Control Account Management (CAM) duties in SAFe execution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical area (may be waived with PMP certification and prior experience).
•5 years of relevant experience.
•2 years owning a leadership role for program/project (may be offset with PMP certification).
•Experience leading program/project teams using Agile development methodology.
•Expertise in Agile tools such as JIRA and AzureDevOps.
